QUEEN'S THEATRE.
Two excellent- pictures are being shown at the Queens Theatre this week. "The Bat." written for tho stage by Mary Roberts Rinehart, is one of the few mystery thrillers that really deserve the title. Unlike most stories of its nature, it does mystify and thrill. The plot centres m a weird, unknown figure, the Bat. The climax is most unusual, and throughout tho whole picturo interest is kept at a high pitch by the thrilling scenes with which it abounds. The second big picture is Tumbleweed?," with that old hero of the open spaces, William S. Hart, in the leading-role. It is a storv ot the old pioneering days, with all its hazards, its humours, its little tragedies and loves. Barbara Bedford has the main supporting role and plays her part in a skilful and most pleasing way.
