VESTRIS ENQUIRY.
THEORY AS TO SINKING. (UNITED PBBBS ASSOCIATION— B* ZLECTEIC TELEORAPH—COPTBIGHT.) NEW YORK, November 27. Harry Wheeler, superintendent of the Lamport and Holt Line, testified before the Federal enquiry into the sinking of the Vestria that, in his opinion, the vessel's loss was. caused by the fracture of sea connexions. Wheeler had previously submitted four tentative reasons for the disaster, but he later expressed the opinion that the one outlined above outweighed the others. —Australian Press Association.
