Just when he seemed likely to overtake his opponent, Fred Lindrum, who was obviously affected by the_cold, did not do justice to hunseff. He sevend times lost position through a faulty grip due to his numbed .fingers. JM expressed the opinion that he would do better if he could wear an overcoat.Inman took full advantage of his opportunities, and his day's total was 1501, compared with Lindrum a 893Australian Press Association.
