A SERIES OF BETRAYALS. (UHITED PRESS ASSOCIATIOH—BT EMCTkId TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) j, SHANGHAI, November 7. Brilliant work by the Chinese police at Hankow resulted in the arrest of 23 of the gang of pirates who captured the British steamer Shansi.
The police secured one ringleader and the others were arrested as a result of a series of betrayals. 'The culprits were discovered having a good time instead of fleeing from the city.—United Service.
