CANTERBURY CLUB.
Tho Canterbury Pigeon yiyUg Club conducted its second race from Kaitolce on Saturday last; 160 birds were liberated in good conditions for racing, and a very fsst fly resulted. Tha winning bird, owned by D. Cunningham, covered the 220 miles air-line in 4hrs 57min 36sec. HeEUlts:—
Winners of nominated bird prizes were H. Rule -and J. Belworthy. During the past week the club also conducted the annual produce race from Kaitoke for nominated birds rung with 1927 motal rings., Twenty-threo birds, representing 13 owners, were liberated in pairs at intervals of ten minutes. Owing to unfavourable conditions a few failed to be . timed in, but good performances were registered by those members who got their birds home. The winning bird, owned by R. Mooro, flew tho 220 odd miles in shrs SOmin 27sec. Results:— r-
