The question of the provision of music for the day was left m the hands of the secretary. , At the last meeting of the McKenzie Domain Board, Mr A. McGiffert presided. 'Che Cheviot Ladies' Croquet Club forwarded plans of the proposed pavilion, and ' it was decided to call tenders for the 'work. It agreed to give two tenants notice that the Board intended to/ resume occupation of the reserves leased by them. Permission was granted for the erection of an engine shed for the pictures at the rear of the Public Hall. . CLARKVILLE. In the ClarkvillePeace Hall the residents met to say good-bye to Mr and Mrs Judsoh before they left for Oust. The evening took the form of a dance, music being supplied by Mrs J. Smith and Miss Gant. Mr S. Frost, chairman of the School Committee, on behalf of the residents, handed the guests an electric kettle with the best wishes of all present. Mr G. HassaU, president of the Hall Committee, handed Mr Judson a case of pipes, he having been secretary of the HaU Committee during his stay in Clarkville. The members of St. Augustine's Guild presented Mrs Judsoh with a cake stand and plates. Mr and Mrs Judson - were also entertained at morning tea ■ by Miss Gant and the pupils. Rex HassaU, on behalf of the pupils, presented Mr Judson with a pair oi leather motoring gloves, and Clarice Giles presented Mrs Judson with; an apron worked hy the basketball girls A very pleasant time was spent and three cheers were given for the guest before" parting. SOUTHBRIDGE. Mr A. McPherson presided over the monthly meeting of the Southbridge District High School Committee. A letter from , the Health Department stated that a dental nnrse would be available in March next.
