MUNICIPAL THEATRE.
VAUDEVILLE AND REVUE. Last evening the Diplomats' Revue Company presented a most interesting and varied programme of vaudeville and revue at the Municipal Theatre. The company had a most enconraging reception from the crowd, and the entertainment, they offered seemed to meet with ready approval. There was not a, dull moment throughout the evening, the turns being bright and sparkling, and the music excellent. Jollity number one was the Petite Jazz Cabaret Band, who played several clever and popular, numbers, .Including "Charmaine" and "Ramona. Then followed a tribute to Kingsford Smith, the song, "Kingsford Smith, Aussie's Proud of You" being brightly sung. Items of endless variety followed one another, and all were good. i_ The Harris Sisters, famous Australian instrumentalists, gave a aeries of artistic items. Miss Mildred Harris played the harp and Miss Connie Harris the violin, both giving numbers which were well received. A boxing interlude provided novelty, and Charles Valentine's rendering of "Ramona was very fine. •.. ' The programme will be repeated on Saturday evening, and the revue can wall be recommended to those . who desire a bright and breexy evening's entertainment.
