Mr 0. E. Jones addressed the Junior Reform: League at its-latest gathering held in St. John's Schoolroom, the title of his address being "Coming, Events." He also heard in debate. Mi James Maclean, the Labour member for Tyneside, the late Lord Oxford,; Su Robert Home, Sir Alfred Mond,,Com; mander Kenworthy, and others. These men, he said, had made history, and were men of mark in English-politics. He pointed out that any one of the audience had every opportunity in this democratic country of rising to any height in the political world, or in the professional arid commercial world, by Indus-: try, application to detail, and energy.
