LONDON PRODUCE MARKETS.
The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office as at the close of business last week:— Butter—Slow. 174s to 180s per cwt. Cheese—Slow. White 107s .to 108s per cwt,- coloured 105s to 106s per cwt. Froten Meat.—Trade in wether mutton is slow, it is thought the prices for ewe mutton have reached bottom. The market for lambs is weaker for second quality, but remains stead; for first grades. There is a little■; better demand for" beef. Wethers, light 6id to 7d per lb; heavy 6d to 6Jd per lb; ewes 4Jd to 6Jd per lb; lambs, twos lOd to 10H per lb; eights lOd to IOJd per lb. fours 9|d to 91d per lb, seconds B}d to 9d per lb; ox, hinds 4|d to 4]d per lb, fores 3{d to 4d per lb; cow, hinds 4}d to 4id per lb. fores 81dt« BJd.
