COMMERCE TRAIN.

The commerce train which has been touring the Auckland province arrived at Whangarei on Saturday. A party was taken'to the Puwera Experimental Farm, where some of the poorest land in the district has been converted into a smiling farm, and also to the Portland cement works.
A big banquet was held in the evening, when the visitors declared them■elves amazed at the potentialities of the north, which offered a great field for investment. Whangarei, the second large town of the province", astonished the visitors by its equipment and modern convenience.
