The "Manchester Guardian's" Warsaw correspondent reports that a" newlyformed Polish "League of Economic Sell-Sufficiency," is conducting a vigorous campaign, including violence if necessary, to discourage th* sale Of imported goods. / There was an enormous gathering at the inauguration of the ■ movement on the parade ground in the centre of Warsaw. where a mock guillotine Waserected. The executioner and his assistants solemnly cut to pieces effigies of importers and also Of various foreign goods, including British boots and shoes, French lingerie and Cosmetic*,' CzechoSlovakian glassware, German kitchen utensils, and American patent foods, amid the spectators' applause. - The demonstrators are to threatening that the prudent storekeepers of Warsaw are prominently displaying sighs: "All goods made in Poland."—Australian Press Association.
