GYMNASTIC DISPLAY.
Again on Saturday evening, in the Choral Hall, Mr Charles Buckett's pupils gave an excellent gymnastic and variety display, presenting a complete change of programme. The programme was as follows:—Overture, W. Betters Orchestra; hoop drill and march, juniors; so!b dance. Miss Gladys Hose; character song, Misß Norma Sturrock; ballet, "Waltz Ballet," soloist. Miss G. Sedgly;, song, Miss Kathleen Chappie; Roman rings; solo dance, Miss Gwen Sherlock; recitation, Miss Gladys Boss; action song, "Playtime"; dumb-bells: recitation. Miss Alice Chapman; tumbling, Tinytown Gymnasts (by numerous requests), the Tots; Melbourne clog. Miss Nancy Chisholm; wands; electric clnb-swing-ing, Miss F. Carston; recitation, Miss Joan Hughes; ballet, "On a Dew, Dew, Dewy Dny"; song, Miss Alice Chapman; clubs; song. Miss Joan Hughes; recitation. Miss .Norma Sturrock; parallel bars; recitation, Mis» E. Chappie; pyramids.
