TOOK POISON.
(PBESS iaaOCUTIOH TEtEOEAM.) HAMILTON, November 8. An ex-offioer of the English Air Force, aged twenty-seven, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court today to attempting suicide by poison. He had been injured twice .in the war by crashing. He limped into Court with his young wife, a New Zealander. The evidence showed rhftt accused, though supported by his parents in England, was greatly depressed owing to his inability to obtain employment as a mechanic. He was convicted and discharged.
