The "Daily Chronicle" says that Russia is suffering from an epidemic of secret societies, and the Bolshevist idicta, tors are fighting hard against a widespread revolt r of youth against the Soviet regime. This fact is disclosed by an official statement in Bolshevist < news? papers, which assert that the higher schools and universities are hotbeds of anti-Bolshevist conspiracy. The Central Government is ' seriously alarmed by its failure to create a second generation of Communists in Bussia. Many students were recently arrested at Archangel. Secret newspapers have .been discovered, such a centre as Odessa publishing'' violent anti-Bolshevist articles. Official opinion is also disturbed by the fact that the works of'Lemin are scarcely read, in public libraries in Russia. N v ' ■ V "Russia's youth is in revolt/' concludes 'the official statement.—Australian Press Association.
