Time, 43 l-ssec. 120 yds Hurdles —Atkinson (South Africa) 1. Time, 14 7-10 sec, equalling the British record. 440 yds Hurdles—Lord Burghley (holder) 1. Time, 54sec. A British record. LAY MAKES WORLD'S RECORD,
