GERMAN PROTEST.
ARREST OF ENGINEERS BY SOVIET. (BT CABLE— PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Eeceived March 12th, 7.30 p.m.) BEELIN, March 11. The German Foreign Office has lodged a protest at Moscow against the arrest of the six engineers at Dpnetz. [Earlier advices from Moscow stated that six German engineers had been arrested in the Donetz coal region for alleged acts of sabotage in the mines at Ogpu. It was declared that explosions and the fires there had been part of a widespread counter-revolu-tionary conspiracy financed from British and Polish sources.]
