"Q" SHIP FILM.

LORD JELLICOE AS A " STAR." HISTORIC ADMIRALTY MEETING. (FBOM OtTB OWN COBBESPONDENT.) LONDON, January 25. Immediately after delivering at the Forum Club his appreciative address on "New Zealand and New Zealand People," Admiral of the Flees Earl Jellicoe set out to make his debut as a film actor, in the studios of the New Era Company, and to act a scene in the new "Q" ship film which is in process of being made. The part in which Earl Jellicoe was the central figure was that of the famous meeting between Viee-Admiral Sims, of the American Navy, and himself at the Admiralty shortly after America entered the war. He was accompanied by Commander H. Auten, V.C., of Stockforco fame, who is acting as liaison officer between the Admiralty and the film producers.

New Zealand's ex-Governor was "made-up" by Mr George Wynne, who "made-up" the Prince of Wates recently. So naturally did Lord Jellicoe re-enact the scene that only a few minutes elapsed before the producer gave the order to "shoot," and dozens of cameras were recording the nature. The actor who took the part of Admiral Sims wore a beard, and after some criticism from Lord Jellicoe a pair of scissors was sent for to trim it. Lord Jellicoe and "Admiral Sims" spoke the exact words which were used at the original meeting. When "Admiral Sims" said: "It looks as though the Germans are going to win the war," Lord Jellicoe's reply, and the manner in which it was delivered, delighted everybody in the studio. Hewas in the glare of the lights for justover an hour.
