STRAND THEATRE.
"Money Talks," starring Claire Windsor and Owen Moore, will head the bill at the Strand Theatre to-day. The story depicts the lauehaMe experiences of a likeable spendthrift who was faced with a wifeless home until he had retrieved the family fortunes. She had grown tired of his eternal promises, none of which ever bore fruit, and issued an ultimatum by 'going home to mother." The husband conceives a brilliant scheme of converting an island into a sanitorium, and charters an ocean-going yacht to help with the idea Once outside the twelve mile limit they are captured by rum-runners. The manner in which_ they escajpe and the mirth-provoking episodes that follow bring a really unusual picture to a hysterical climax. "Whispering Wires," starring Anita Stewart, a comedy, and topicals, and a scenic complete the programme.
