BOARD OF GOVERNORS MEET.
The Board of Governors of Canterbury College met yesterday, -when there were present: Mr H. D. Acland (chairman), Min B. A. Chaplin, Mrs W. H. Clark, Dr. Charles Chilton, Dr. H. G. College Committee. The College Committee reported h» v »ng appointed a snb-committee to report to tue Board meeting regarding the advisability oi providing a rectorial residence. The report was adopted. ' The High Schools and Hostels Committee reported having authorised the erection ot a brick wall wtih redstone coping, about two feet high, in front of the Girls High School, at a cost of approximately £l~o. The report was adopted.
