NO CANTERBURY TEAM FOR 'VARSITY RACES. It is very improbable that any rowing crew from Canterbury College will contest the rowing event inserted in the inter-'Var-sity tournament programme to be decided at Auckland during Easter week. Apart from the heavy cost involved in sending a team, tho short notice given does not allow timo for a team to be- got together. Moreover, there 3re very few rowing- enthusiasts in Canterbury College, as there are few facilities available for a sport which takes months of training.
