There was a very good attendance afc the annual social and prize-giving is connexion with the Southbridge Presbyterian Sunday School, over Which Mr A. McPherson presided in the absence of the Rev J. C. Young, 8.A.. Moderator of the charge during the ministerial vacancy. A splendid programme of songs and other items was presented, all the performers being warmly applauded Besides several songs by the children, there were vocal solos by'Mesdames Gilbert and Watson and Misses Tong and Jones. Misses Howatson and Betty Eggleton gave a duet. Misses Sylvia Bennett and Stella Johnstone recitations. Ail the children received book prizes, and the ladies provided - supper.
