SPYING CASE.
STRANDERS IMPRISONED. (BT CABLE— PRESS ASSOCIATION— COrIKIGHT.) (ArSTBAMAIT AND K.Z. CABLI ASSOCIATION ) PARIS, March 9. Captain Stranders, the spy, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment and was fined one hundred francs. [Captain Stranders, an Englishman and ex-Army officer, was arrested in France and charged with espionage. Stranders, who was in the employ of a British firm of aeroplane makers, made many trips to Germany during 1926, and was alleged to have stolen French aeroplane plans and sold thexn to Germany. . British Secret Service men were reported to have been interested in Stranders's movements, "an:l to have been looking for a chance to arrest him.] .
