MOTOR-CYCLE RACING AT AUCKLAND. (TRESS ASSOCIATION TtI.KRAM.) AUCKLAND. February 13. T«o uorld's grass track records were broken at the Auckland Motor-Cycle Racing Club's sports at Takapuna racecourse. In the Great Northern Handicap, twelve miles, J'. Coleman did the distance in the record time of 9mih 20 2-ssec, winning by 25 yards from K. Curtis, with H. V. McCready third. B. Bray, Whangarei, reduced the grass record for a mile for middle-weight machines from SOsec to 48sec. Bray won the Takapuna Handicap, seven miles, by three hundred yards from McCready, with Vf. Allen third. Bray also won the Alison Handicap, six miles, in smin 3sec. W. White won the Auckland Handicap, seTen miles, in 6min 46sec. IT. Herbert won the President's Handicap, ten miles, in Bmin 29sec, with'F. Curtis second, and McCready third. Coleman could not compete owing to a tyre blowing out before the race. R. Ranby won the final handicap, eight miles, in Tmin 1 2-ssec. W. Allen won the sports handicap, fWe miles, in -Imin Ifisec, and Ratcliffo won the Open Handicap, five miles, in 4min 2!) 2-ssec.
