A correspondent who wrote to tho Admiralty enquiring whether extracts f. m Mr Churchill's books could be considered authoritative, received the replv that Mr Churchill's books were not official. Their Lordships of, the Admiralty accepted no responsibility lor statements and opinions expressed in these hooks, and did not necessarily share the opinions.
