OBITUARY.
MRS A. T. MAGINNITY. The death is announced of Mrs Maginnity, widow of tho late Hon. Mr Maginnity, formery a well-known Nelson lawyer. Tho deceased lady was a fine type of woman—refined, clever, and deeply religious—and she won her greatest, joy in life by devoting herself to her husband and family. For some years during their earlier married life, the late Mr and Mrs Maginnity resided in tho Collingwood district, but over thirty years ago they removed to Nelson, where tho family have since resided. Within recent years Mrs Maginnity had borne more than her sharo of troublo, her second son, Mr A. T. Maginnity, jun., her husband, and her youngest daughter, Miss Maude Maginnity, having died within a comparatively short space of time. Though burdened with tho weight of increasing years, Mrs Maginnity remained cheerful and brave to tho end, and sho will be sadly missed in Nelson, especially by members of the Anglican Church, for which she was always an energetic workor.
She is survived by one son, Mr L. Maginnity, and tlirco daughters—Mrs Mnunsell, wife of Mr T. Maunsell, S.M., and Misses Mabel and Fanny Maginnity, of Nelson.
