HEAD OF RIVER" SERIES. On Saturday 'be final of the Head oi the River rowing eerie: was held on tlio Avon. Tho Union Club hid an easy win, the points being:—Union 18, Avon 8, Canterbury 6. In Saturday's races each club won an event. One of the best contests was that betwe«ii W. L. Whittington and W. J. Sorgison in Uie senior single sculls.
