♦—— THE TROTTING MEETING. Mr W. E. Leadley, secretary of the Royal Reception Committee, has received a letter from the Minister for Internal Affairs (the Hon, R. P. Bollard) stating that tho Duke and Duchess of York will' not attend tho luncheon at the proposed Royal Trotting Mooting at Addington, which is being arranged l'j the New Brighton Trotting Club. The Minister has communicated with tho Duke, and tho letter will reach him on his arrival at Suva.
