NORTH BRIGHTON SCHOOL.
Tho monthly meeting of the North Brighton School Committee was held on Wednesday evening. Present: Messrs E. A. M. Leaver (chairman), S. S. Freeborn, W. McDonald, A. Florance, Rev. W. F. Knowlos, and Mrs Reid. The headmaster's report showed tho roll number to be 240. Mr E. Boon had been appointed probationer assistant, and Misa P. Judkins probationer. The resignation of Mr H. R. Davison as . a member of tho committee was received with regret. A resolution of sympathy wit It Miss Hunt in her illness was passed. The chairman reported on tho arrangements for the school and borough picnic to be held on February 10th. It was reported that' the school property was being interfered with at week-ends, and it was decided to take steps to prevent any recurrence of such mischief.
