ANNUAL MEETING. The first Annual meeting of subscribers ot the St. Martins Library was held last night. Mr J. E. Jones presided over a good attendance. It was decided that the Burgesses' Also-. riation have the use of the library on the second Monday in every month. ' A motion was passed thanking those who I had given chairs and the table to the I library. | With the object of obtaining funds, it was decided to hold a euchre tournament. , The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, the Mayor (Mr J. K. Archer); president, Mr J. E. Jones; treasurer, Mr D. AV. Bartram; secretary. Mr F. Holland; vice-presidents, Messrs T. Armstrong, M.P., W. K. Leadloy. Young, O. Anderson, J. Scott, and J. Goddard; auditors, Mrs J. Empson and Mr G. W. Hargreaves; buyers, Messrs A. Johnston and D. C. Neavc; trustees, Messrs Bartram and Harvey; committee, Mesdames J. Young, A. Alexander, K. Gibson, F. Holland, L. Schumacher, R. J. Thompson, C. Baker, Miss J. Thomson, Messrs D. A. Campbell, F. Smith. A. Alexander, T. Thomson, V>. Manning, E. Gibson, W. Street, H. fi. Baker, L. Vates, and W.
