! BOARD OF CONTROL. Tlio Victory Park Board of Control met last evening. " Those present were:—Messrs W\ Simpson (chairman) H. H. Waucliop, K. B. Ward, C. S. McCully, A. McPhail, and J. K. Molonjy. The secretary of the Canterbury Hotkey Association wrote applying for use of ono o£ the hockey grounds at tho Park next season. Tho application was referred to the ;;ugby Union for consideration. • The New Zealand Cricket Council was granted permission tor the use of the Park on March 18th, 10th. and 22nd for the Test Match against the Melbourne Cricket Team. . It was decided to obtain iv further s\tpp.> of tho top-dressing used on representative match wickets for v.so on representative practice wickets. The Ground Committee reported that the noiv scoring board at the Park was now completed. The secretary was instructed to take t He necessary steps to got by-laws controlling crowds at tile Park gazetted. The financial statement disclosed a balance 0 ; i'lOt 2s 3d, and accounts amounting to j i"23J lis were passed for payment.
