The Earl of Stradbroke, formerly Governor of Victoria, presided at an address given by Sir Frank Nelson, M.P., to the Colonial Institute upon hi« Australian impressions. Sir Frank Nelson emphasised that tho Parliamentary Delegation did not go to Australia to devise a method for dumping British unemployed. There was a body of opinion in Australia quite definitely opposed to immigration, and Australians were keenly concerned in seeing that primary industries should not be developed out of all proportion to secondary industries.
