MODERATOR ELECTED. A meeting of the L'hristchurch Presbytery took place yesterday, the llcv. J. S. Young (Moderator; presiding over a good attendance. The Rev. G.*H. Crockett (Wnikari) was appointed Moderator for the ensuing six months. . . The Rev. T. W. Potts wrote declining the call to St. John's Church. Lyttelton.'ns a call had been made to him frnni Wuikouaiti. The letter was received. It was decided that leave ht> granted t:> raise an extra £.'"oo to build a new niauie at SouthbridgP.
