The concert given in the corridor at the Christcliurch Hospital on Friday afternoon was arranged by Mrs Ben Savillc. The patients wore entertained with a programme of a bright and cheery character, and showed their appreciation in a very hearty manner. Miss Hilda Crosier and Miss Ada King played selections for piano and violin; Mrs Saville contributed songs and recitations; Miss Cicely Christian, songs, and Miss King, songs. An enjoyable evening was spent\recently at tho residence of Mr and Mrs R. Twiss, Southbridgo, tho occasion being a "bouse warming" in their now home. Dancing, games, and songs wore enjoyed, and a dainty supper was served. Songs wcro rendered by Misses Parkin and Bolt (Christcliurch), Mrs W. Longton (Christcliurch), and Mrs Davis. Mr S.
