It was also decided to request tho Minister to give tho society control ever all boats on the lake. An amendment' that all boats bo prohibited was defeated. The Ashburton Acclimatisation iSociefy wrote reporting illegal fishing on the Rangitata, and advocating converle'l action between tho rangers of boih societies during tho salmon -season. It was decided to reply that the society'.--ranger was willing to co-operate. It was reported that six pairs ot wokas had arrived from the .1 Acclimatisation Society and Icon liberated. The Mackenzie County Council write thanking the society' for jilvrntiir: three pairs of wokas on the inlands in Lako Tekapo. Tho Council exploded its appreciation and stated thit thr-y would bo glad to refund to the sooety tho cost of the birds. Revived.
