* Mr W. Culshaw, lecturing at Koighley, Yorkshire, on "Window Displays and Efficiency in Retailing," said that no method of advertising was so Rood, effective, and cheap as consistent advertising through Iho Press. Afc a luncheon' given in London l»y Messrs Hovis, Ltd., to the competitors in the annual Hovis hread-making competition, Mr J. F. Morion, managing director of Hovis, Ltd., who presided, said that, while their publicity took many forms, including that annual competition, they always claimed .that they got their best results from the Press. Each year, as business expanded, they increased their advertising, and their greatest increase was in the newspapers.
