ROYAL VISIT.
A PUBLIC HOLIDAY. It was announced yesterday by Mr W. E. Leadlcy, secretary of the Royal Reception Committee, that s}arch loth had been declared a public holiday in honour of tho visit of tho Duke and Ihichess of York,. This is tho date upon which the [loyal visitors will, it is hoped, be present at the race meeting of the New Brighton Trotting Club. In the morning her Royal Highness will lay the foundation stono of tho Nurses' Memorial Chapel. The garden fete will bo held in the afternoon.
