The monthly meeting 'of tho Buncoed School Committee was hold in tho ecliool on Thursday evening, when the following members wcro present:—Messrs J. Liggins (chairman), F. Cusack (secretary), G. .Robinson (trcamiwr), W. Smyth, J- Wilson, and J. JlcKcchnie. Mr W. Baropton tendered his resignation a* a member of the commilttc, explaininj that he mum regretted liuving to do to. but as his children lied now passed tho nixth standard ho was no longer eligibly being resident -rnfsido tho school district. Tho resignation was accepted with extreme regret, a-.d it was decided to record a v:ry hearty vote of thanks to Mr Bampton for his valuable work on behalf of the school. It was decided to appoin'. Mr H. Itcaby to fill th« vacancv. The secretary was instructed to write to Mr Donald tbankin? him for a grant o! £1 towards the picnic fund. Tho headmaster's report showed the roll to bo 130. including 23 admission" Messrs H. lieaby and G. Robinson were appointed visitors for the month. It was decided to hold tho annual picnic at L»eston on Friday. February 16th. and prelrrcinarv arrangements wera made.
