TESTIMONY OF PRESIDENT OF ALLIANCE. [THE FSESS Special Service.] WELLINGTON, February 3. -Mr Charles Todd, president of the New Zealand Alliance, said tonight at a welcome gathering that as a result of his nine mouths' tour he had gained a very fair insight into the workings of Prohibition, especially in America. The statement that American college students were taking to driuk was a libel. There was less drinking now than before Prohibition. He did not see one single student at Stanford University with a flask in 1113 hip pocket. Prohibition was the accepted principle among the SOOO Rotariaus at the Denver Conference.
