New South Wales swimming championships results are:— 100 yds Backstroke—Saito (Japan) 1, Camptell 2, Kirkland 3. Won by two yards. Time, lmin 13sec. 220 Yarda—Takaishi 1, Charlton 2, Moore 3. Won by eight yards. Time, 2min 17eec. High-diving Championship—Bassass 1, Tight 2, Coylo 3. 220 Yards Breaststroke Championship— Bayldon 1, O'Connor 2, McCure 3. Won by two yards. Time, 3min 15 4-ssec. Takaishi won impressively, showing that ho was in a class above Charlton over the 220 yards. The winner's time was 6 4-ssec faster than tho Australian record, and only 1 2-sseo outside the world's record. WELLINGTON. (PBtSS ASSOCIATION TELEGBAH.) WELLINGTON, January IS.
