A men's bogey handicap was also played, and was won_ by the Rev. Father O'Doherty, plus 1, Devlin and T. Shankland, 3 down, coming second. METHVEN CLUB. The Methven Golf Club 'held an 18-hole Btroke handicap competition* on Saturday. The weather was ideal, but owing to various counter-attractions there was only a fair attendanco of players.
