t ANZAC DAY CELEBRATIONS. PICTURES OF THE WEEK. The eleventh anniversary of the landing of the gallant New Zealand and Australian troops on Gallipoli was commemorated throughout the Dominion yesterday. A fine double page of pictures in noxt Wednesday's issue of the "Weekly Press" depicts the solemn observance of Anzac Day in Christchurch. The procession through the City, different sections of the narade, scenes at £iie Cathedral, the Bridge of Remembrance, and King Edward Barracks, are shown. In addition to the Anzac Day pictures, there arc several whole page features of particular interest. TTiese include the opening of the new convent at Mt Magdala, the end of the yachting season at Auckland, the opening of the hunting season (the Pakuranga Meet at East Tamaki, Auckland, and the Manawatu Racing Club's Autumn Meeting at Palmerston North. An interesting series of pictures of the concluding day of the Wellington R.C. Autumn Meeting is also given.
