WOMAN NEARLY FAINTS.

♦ —— . EXCITEMENT IN CASHBL STREET. A well-known Christchurch woman nearly fainted in Cashel street yesterday. She'd been along to Stewart Robinson's Salvage Boot Sale, and expected some wonderful bargains. Wben she was offered a Glace Kid Shoe, with, fancy tut out sides and cuban heels at 12s 6d, the shock nearly made her faint. She had expected a bargain, but never a bargain such as this. That has been the experience of hundreds of women who have crowded to Stewart Robinson's two shops at 108 Cashel street, west, and 743 Colombo street, opposite Londontown, to take advantage of his remarkable Salvage Bargains bought by him from a well-known Wellington firm at 8s Id in the £.
