The New South Wales Championship Tennis Tournament concluded in ideal weather. In the Junior Doubles Championship semi-final, Andrews and Wilson beat Hicks and Slade, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. In the Mixed Doubles Championship final, Willard and Miss Cox beat Wertheim and Miss Boyd, 7-5, 6-3. After winning the semi-final in the Junior Doubles, Andrews and Wilson were defeated in the final by Crawford and Hopman, 6-3, 3-2. The light was failing and the New Zealanders forfeited in the second set. The game commenced late and the New Zealanders were not at home from the start, whereas the local players were playing under customary conditions.
