(BY CABLE—PBES3 ASSOCIATION—COPITIIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, April 21. "The coal situation is very delicate," is the laconic official statement issued at the conclusion of the conference of mine-owners. . The Prime Minister announces tho mine-owners will meet the miners tomorrow morning. The miners' executive considered the coal-owners' proposals for a new national agreement substantially differing from the present. Tho chief point at the conference is likely to bo the question of national uniform percentages. It is reported in well-informed circles that Mr Stanley Baldwin is opposed to the owners' demand for district agreements. > - - 1 *
