IMPERIAL MISSION.
A meeting of the Council of ,the Imperial Mission was held on Wednesday evening, Dr. Levinge presiding. A Utter was received from.the Ministry of Labour, Westminster. London, replying to the Committee's enquiry with regard to the scheme for the training of handy men with a view to their employment overseas, and it wa* indicated that arrangements could be road* through the Immigration Department in Xew Zealand for specially trained men, who would go through the six months' course provided. It was decided to communicate with A. and P. Associations.' Farmers' Unions, and Manufacturers' Associations on the eubject.
