♦ Commencing from Saturday next, the Canterbury Retail Drapers', Clothiers', Mercers', and Boot Retailers' Association .Bhops will close at 12.45 p.m. each Saturday, instead of 1 p.m. The Oxford terrace Baptißt Church will hold an anniversary concert to-night. . The Canterbury Master Butchers' Association shops will be closed on Monday, April 2Gth. The annual mooting of the New Brighton Co-operativo Money Club will bo held at the office on May sth. The first of a series of lectures will bo given to-night in tho Public Library Lecture Hall by Mr Hurst Soager, who will speak on j town-planning mattors.
