The New Smith Wales Tennis Cham* pionships were continued in fine, bright weather. In the semi-finals of the Junior Singles between Hopman and Wilson, the former won 6-1, 15-13. Hopman was playing well at the commencement, and improved as the game progressed. Wilson seemed ofi colour in the first set, but made a much better showing in the second, and held the odd game from 7-6 to 13-12, but could not press the advantage home. Hopman was playing brilliantly. His excellent 6ervjoe, and fine volleying at the net enabled him to take the next three games and the set.

One of the best (fames of the day was the conclusion of the semi-final in the Men's Singles Championship between Andrews ajid Willard, the runner-up of this year's Australian Championships. This gam® was 3-2 on Saturday, when rain compelled a postponement until to-day. Andrews took the first three games to-day, winning the second set 6-2, In the next set Andrews went to pieces. His driving was too strong, and Willard anticipated cteverly, and captured the set 6-1. In the final set Andrews gave a brilliant exhibition, and had Willard hopelessly outclassed. He took it love. This was Andrews's beat exhibition. He will meet Kalms in th© final to-morrow. The scores were 6-3, 6-2, 1-6, 6-0. In the second semi-final of the Junior Singles Championship, Andrews had much the'better of Che first set, Crawford not taking a game. Crawford was playing below bis usual form, He made some excellent strokes in the j second set, but again Andrews showed | his superiority in all departments of the game, He was inclined to put too [ n\uch power behind his drives, but took the games 6-0, 6-4. In the mixed doubles championship, Willard and Miss Cox beat Smyth and Miss Bickerton, 9-7, 6-4; Kalms and Mrs Utz beat Wilson and Mrs Harper, 6-4, 8-10, 6-2.
