OFFICIAL COUNT, (PEESS ASSOCIATION TELESEAJf.) AUCKLAND, April 20. The official count of the by'electlon in Eden reduces.Mr H. 6. R. Mason's majority by 11. Following are the official figures, with about seven absent votes still to come: — Mr Mason ' .. 4589 Sir James Gunson 4159 Miss Melville .. 2193 Majority for Mr Mason 430 The figures, which include moßt of the absentee votes, give Mr Mason 116 more votes than at the time of the'poll. Sir James Gunson's total has increased by 127, and Miss Melville shows a, decrease of 57.
