DEATH OF FREDERICK WITTY. (rSESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) IXVERCARGILL, April 20. In the Magistrate's Court to-day, before Mr G. CruickshariA. S.M., further evidence was taken in the case against John Guv Dennison,' Engineer to the Southland County Council, charged with negligently driving a car, thereby j causing the death of Frederick George j AVitty, oil March Sth 011 the North road. The evidence was on similar lines to that given at the inquest. | Accused, who was represented by Mr j Eustace Russell, reserved his defence. \ and was committed for trial to the Supreme Court.
