PUBLIC SCHOOLBOYS.
TOUR OF AUSTRALIA. (raou OUR OWN correspondent.) LONDON, March 4. The Public School Empire-Tour Committee, at a meeting in London, made arrangements for the Australian lour of 100 Public School boys. The commandant of the contingent will be Major-Getieral Sir Robert Porter, who served in Ashanti, the South African War, and the European "War. Sir Robert; was. at one time Director of the Army Medical Service. It was reported that the Rev. Geoffrey Harold Woolley, V.C., Vicar of Monk Sherborne, near Basingstoke, will accompany tho boys as chaplain. Mr Woolley was awarded the Victoria Cross for conspicuous bravery on Hill 60 on the night of Apfil 20-21, 1915. Ho was the only officer on the hill, but held it under heavy fire until relieved. He belonged to the 9th. (County of London) Battalion, London Regiment, Territorial Army. The boys will leave England on August 3rd,'and will return towards the end of December.
